課程概述 |
In the course “Introduction to Quantum Optics”, we will cover various topics regarding interactions between light and matters in the quantum region, including quantization of electrodynamics field, coherent and non-classical states of light, atom-photon interaction, open quantum system evolution, and special topics related to quantum computing and applications. |

By the end of the semester, students will be able to
(1) identify concepts and toolboxes in quantum optics,
(2) present related topics via oral and written reports. |
